More screenshots
Might as well post these because why the hell not. I’m actually working on games.

My next game is going to be something of a mix between Harvest Moon and Yume Nikki. You will be able to grow crops and animals, but also sleep and explore a huge dreamworld.
You start in the real world with almost nothing except a few seeds, and from there you must expand with more plants and even livestock.
Some of the items and crops you grow you will be able to affect the dreamworld with....
Thanks for the answers to my previous post. I won’t be making my own music for the next game. Making music is just not my forte and I’d rather spend my time on other stuff and get the game made rather than spend time and frustration trying to make music.

I’m seriously starting to give up on music. How much do people care if I use my own music?
Would you hate me if I just did like I did with Miserere and “borrowed” music from other sources?
I don’t really have the time to make music anymore, sadly. I just have no talent for it and it takes so long to get anything decent done.
Thoughts?

How I get more new followers when I don’t post stuff compared to when I DO post stuff I will never know. It is one of the worlds great mysteries.

Would you look at that, I got on a list.Last place, but still. I’ll concede that Ib is better than Skinwalker.

Skinwalker update
I made some changes to the game to make it a better experience.
Unless bugs pop up this will likely be the final version. Enjoy!

Skinwalker
Four friends from the same university go out camping together. But while gathering firewood, strange sounds can be heard from the forest. After that, things get gradually worse. This is the classic camping-trip-gone-wrong movie from the eighties made into a RPG Maker game. It features a minimalistic soundtrack, with mainly the ambiance of the forest and all the creatures in it accompanying you in...

About Siris’ Inferno. I haven’t touched it much since the last release. Not only because I have been working on After Man, but also because I’m feeling that it might be a too big of a project for me to work on alone. I don’t hate working on it, but I’m honestly starting to feel less and less happy about it. I doubt I could finish it this year, or maybe even the one...

The new After Man had some rather annoying stuff, like the dogs which were pretty hard to go past. I fixed that and some other stuff in a new release. Read the changelog for the full changes.

As promised, here is the After Man update. The new creatures I added in the spaceship ramped up the difficulty a bit and added some (much needed) sense of urgency. There are still some areas I left untouched mostly untouched, since I got this nostalgic love for them. But fear not, more than 50% of the areas in the spaceship have been changed in some way. If you played it before, there are still...

First After Man post ever!
So, I’ve actually secretly been working on a bit of a update for my first completed game, called After Man. The first part of the game really looked aged, and you could actually tell I improved during the game by just looking at how the first and last areas of the game looked. So many of the worst places are getting a bit of a visual overhaul.
Another thing I...

Siris' Inferno update
Been working on the release more than expected, so here’s a early release of the 2nd demo. As earlier mentioned this release goes down to the 2nd circle.
Enjoy, ladies and gentlemen!

mouse-tan asked: Approximately how long will it be before the final release of Siris’ Inferno? :^)
Anonymous asked: Hello! I remember reading on Uboachan that you got the music for Miserere from free music sites and I really loved the music you used so I was wondering what sites you used. I'm working on a game as well and I'm having a hard time finding free music since I can't make any of my own. Thanks a lot!
archivemod asked: I found your games through neogaf recently, and while I've not played them yet they have definitely piqued my interest! tell me, what program do you do pixelwork in? I use Aseprite, personally.
Working on Siris' Inferno again
Here are some screenshots in glorious low-res as proof.
mouse-tan asked: The demo of Siris' Inferno was pretty good and I think you should continue it, unless you don't want to of course. Also what was up with that frog/demon guy by the lillypads playing his instrument?
Anonymous asked: Why did you even make dickme dicki anyways? What inspired you?

A post, at last
So I’ve been pretty busy with stuff except game-making and have been taking a break for a while, as people that care probably noticed. Interestingly enough, I have got more requests to continue my joke game (Dickme Dicki, and no, I’m not continuing it) than my actual serious project (Siris’ Inferno).
So I would like to pose a question to interested parties:
Should I continue...

Anonymous asked: Hello, I'd like to ask a question about Miserere. I really loved the game, and I was enthralled by the song called "Leave A Light On" in the BGM folder. Could you tell me who the original artist is for that song? Or did you compose it yourself? Sorry to bother you, but I'd really like to know.
Halloween game
I promised a halloween game a while back, and I actually managed to finish it. It’s really short, just a few minutes, but it is pretty much something I just made for fun. Give it a go:

Have a spooky Halloween, everyone!
Halloween
I’m working on a (very) short halloween game, which should be done soon. Look forward to it!
Professional link edits
Or not. I deleted the old edit shortly after editing it, because it had a bug in it. Here is the correct file for Siris’ Inferno demo.

New website
Been a while since I made a post, and things have been happening.
I have a new official website:
http://owlgame.webs.com/
The site will contain all of my old finished games, Miserere and After Man.
It will also serve as information center for all of my games, especially the project I’m working on at them moment, Siris’ Inferno. Screenshots, downloads, music and other goodies will...

Bugfixed version/Walkthrough Miserere
v1.02x: http://www.mediafire.com/?4688vju6254y2j6 Changelog: http://www.mediafire.com/?pla8bdn7ae77qm2
Walkthrough (also in download): http://www.mediafire.com/?xfgu5jvph6zcxzt
Walkthrough is probably not very reading friendly, since I wrote it while playing through Miserere once. But it should help if you get stuck, at least.

Siris Inferno
So after a few weeks of time to recuperate, I’ve started on a new game called Siris’ Inferno. Siri’s inferno is a game I’m making in VX Ace and it is going to be a bit of a cut-off from the free roaming dream exploration games, at least for me. It is basically going to be a fairly linear adventure/exploration game.
The main story is simple. Siris has had her soul stolen...

Miserere v1.01
This update should fix most of the bugs that people have reported to me.
Apart from that there’s not much new. Basically added some events that are random, so if you’ve already played 1.0 this shouldn’t really be necessary.

Miserere v1.0
Ladies and gentlemen, I am in a great mood today.
The reason? I have completed Miserere.
And now, I shall share it: http://www.mediafire.com/?67vw5i8v08qibp8

It's done!... Almost.
Yep, Miserere is completely and utterly done, almost.
I’m just fixing as many bugs and other minor stuff as I can find before releasing a v1.0.
Also, big thanks to everyone that offered to proofread the game. I found my man for the job and he is currently hard at work reading… I dunno, like half a novel of text.
So, expect a release in the next few days, yay!

Proofreader
I am in need of someone with good english grammar skills for proofreading Miserere, since I’m not a native english speaker and my grammar is so-so. Ofcourse i will give credit. If you are interested, send me a message. It’s not really any rush, I just need it before I’m done with the game (which will be in 1+ months time).

Update
So i got a message saying Miserere is a bit dark, and i realized that i actually forgot to put out the update that takes care of just that, and a few other minor things. My bad, i guess?

A bit of a update. I was unhappy with how the first part of the game felt, so i added a few puzzles to make the player feel more immersed. I also added some text stuff and the occasional new room. This is probably what the first part will look like, mostly. If i make changes to it they will most likely not be big ones. Next i will start working on the second part, which will contain most of the...

Miserere
I’ve been busy these last weeks, indeed i have, for i have been working on a new release of my little project. New places to explore, ofcourse, but also new content in old places. I’ve been adding conversation (nothing major so far) and the option to examine stuff. Also you can now die in a few places (and dying is not only a annoyance, it changes stuff on the station). Another thing i...

Current stuff
So what i am doing right now is a little project called Miserere. not much to be said about it yet. It’s just something i’ll be doing whenever i feel like it, basically. Probably not going to be very story heavy, mostly exploring.
Hey. I’ll be posting stuff about my games and stuff here, probably not very often since I’m lazy. Seeing as there’s basically not much I could put here, i’ll just start by linking my old project(s).
First, After Man.

Next, Merula, unfinished and probably not very enjoyable. At least it’s pretty (most of the time).
